I have such mixed feelings about it! It sort of glorifies the often unattainable ideal and seems brutally hostile to the overweight reality that so many struggle with. It reinforces our superficial focus on women's appearence.. Yet subconsciously there is something quite compelling about it, and the notion of empowering ourselves to transform ourselves.

Wow, I never thought of it that way! I saw it as a person conquering their battle of the bulge. Like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon.
