I've had a few mini ones myself this summer.

It is VERY scary when you think you might gain all the weight back at the speed of light no less, as compared with the eons it took to get the weight off!

I just kept thinking that I didn't want to go through a long drawn-out session of losing the weight again, or feeling like a failure, or having to buy big clothes again! YIKES!!!

I have read in many many places, that a little backsliding happens to the best of losers. I think it is all about learning how to live this new life and then TRUSTING that this new life is livable!

You hang in there and I will too and we will keep things all on the right track for sure. :)Sherri https://www.blogger.com/profile/04928191196045775058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8331215707872989274.post-67943729204196998922013-08-07T08:10:24.190-05:002013-08-07T08:10:24.190-05:00Hi Sherri!

Looks like you're having fun.

I had a little setback in May (it felt huge at the time!) where I went completely off the rails for the first time in two years. It was astounding and discouraging how quickly my body was able to pack weight back on. But the good news is that I grabbed control at the beginning of June and forced myself to stick with it and am now almost back to where I was. The moral of this story is that now I know that if I "fall off the wagon" for a bit it doesn't mean a complete reversal. I CAN recover. I guess going through this experience has been a valuable confidence builder in spite of how awful it all felt.

Keep having a good summer!

CynthiaDaddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06586345668368529117noreply@blogger.com
